Did you know that whenever you hire employees in your business, the IRS requires by law that you have each indivudual fill out a form W-9? This form simply lets the IRS know that you have another employee working for you. It also lets the IRS know that the employee is a legal U.S. citizen and can legally work in the United States. Without having your employees fill out this form and sending it to the IRS could lead to penalties from the IRS for not providing the information to them.
